Sally-Ann Veasey ~ Piano Accordion

Talented piano accordionist and composer Sally-Ann is the melody line of Petronella. Sally-Ann taught herself to play at the age of 12 and played in the "Glorishears" band until 1987 when she formed Petronella. Sally-Ann's fingers are a blur as she punches out tune after tune, full of energy, real talent. When not strangling the accordion Sally-Ann is just as happy playing guitar or the piano.

Simon Veasey ~ Bass Guitar/Electric/Acoustic Guitars

With a chequered history in Punk, Synth Pop and Rock bands through the '70's and '80's Simon formed Petronella with Sally-Ann after they met in a folk club in 1987. Simon provides the stomping bass line to get those toes tapping except in the odd waltz or slow number when the blonde Telecaster might get dusted down.

Emily Veasey ~ Drums/Percussion

You'll find Emily lurking at the back trying to keep Mum Sally-Ann in time (not easy!!) Loves acoustic drums and strange eye make up buts mostly plays her Yamaha Digital Kit in the band (its easier to mix in some of the smaller venues we play) ... if you get chance ask her to show you her flashing drumsticks! ... A natural musician Emily is now getting to grips with the guitar and picking it up with enviable speed.

Tomas Veasey ~ Set Up & Sound/Apprentice Bass Player

He may not play anything in the band (yet!) but he's responsible for making sure everything gets plugged in where it should and sounds like it should do ... if it doesn't grab him! .... Watch out though he's faster than he looks!
